WHO WE ARE
Concerned Citizens of Memphis is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that consists of citizens who have dedicated their lives to the enrichment of others.
WHAT WE DO
CCofM is in the process of establishing a temporary housing facility, that provides up to 90 days of housing and facilitates the transition to long term housing for those who are experiencing bouts of homelessness. In addition CCofM currently has a feeding the homeless program and several youth programs (Prison Prevention, Gang Redirection and Summer Theater programs). In 2013, CCofM added the Men of Honor Program to its youth services, a program dedicated to the enrichment of young black men. The Men of Honor Program is a comprehensive college preparatory program targeting at-risk males in Shelby County and the city of Memphis.
MISSION
To train, resource, and assist the less fortunate or homeless with food and/or temporary housing, minor medical treatment, necessary document assistance and job readiness skills so that they may be afforded the opportunity to better themselves and become productive citizens.
